The Opportunity

To help continue fuel our growth, we are looking for a customer focused, goal-oriented, high-energy, Sales Development Representative to expand our Sales team. Our Sales team consults with multi-national enterprises to develop solutions for ID, business and document verification. This role will report into the Sales Manager. This is a full-time position in our Gastown Vancouver HQ, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and public transit. Compensation is based on experience and includes stock options and benefits.

As a part of our sales team you will...

  • Qualify incoming leads, identify their needs and schedule product demonstrations
  • Work with account executives to identify high priority accounts and reach out through personalized outbound campaign
  • Coordinate and perform product introductions in an effort to schedule demos and opportunities for inside sales teams
  • Nurture existing leads into the buying cycle
  • Update Salesforce database with information regularly
  • Event and tradeshow lead follow-up

We’re looking for someone who has...

  • 1+ years experience in outbound sales (phone, call center or telemarketing), preferably B2B and within a tech startup environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to successfully articulate technical product specifications and product value proposition to senior corporate managers
  • Self-driven, tenacious, confident, competitive, detailed-oriented, and big appetite for high achievement in lead generation
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Excellent written skills, and not afraid to be on the phone
  • A preference to be paid on performance

It’s a bonus if you have...

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Additional sales or sales development experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce and sales outreach platforms
