The Opportunity

Building strong relationships with our global data partners is critical in driving our next stage of growth. We are looking for a customer focused, goal-oriented, high-energy, Data Partner Specialist to expand our Partnerships team. Our Partnerships team goes above and beyond to manage our global data partner accounts, spanning across 65+ countries. You will be on the front line directly engaging with our data partners across 6 continents worldwide. This role will report to the Head of Data Partnerships. The opportunity to make an impact is huge within a fast growing tech company. The partnerships team interacts with almost every team across the company. This is a full-time position in our Gastown Vancouver HQ, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and public transit. Compensation is based on experience, a track record of results, and includes stock options and benefits.

As a part of our Data Partnerships team you will...

  • Facilitate data partner on-boarding by coordinating with Technical, Compliance, and Product Teams
  • Ensure that suppliers are approved in accordance with Trulioo’s procedures
  • Build positive relationships with data partners, Trulioo team members and other stakeholders
  • Proactively support close alignment between data partners, internal business units, and Trulioo as a whole
  • Maintain regular contact with data partners to continuously improve business relationships and ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of customer requirements and expectations
  • Review, analyze, and negotiate partner performance, contracts and agreements
  • Be a principle point of contact and/or escalation internally for partner business and technical support issues
  • Contribute own expertise to achieve positive outcomes for the business
  • Constantly drive to improve processes that promote business scalability

We’re looking for someone who has...

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Experience in partner/vendor/account management, preferably within the technology industry
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills to make independent decisions and develop creative solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), listening, and negotiation skills
  • World class relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent organizational capabilities with a proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Comfortable with technical terminology and knowledge of the SaaS business
  • Data driven individual with strong quantitative skills (ex. Excel, SQL, etc.) and strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and big appetite for high achievement
  • Team-oriented with ability to work independently
  • Curiosity, adaptability and a strong drive to learn
  • Passionate and driven to make an immediate impact
  • Grit to make the impossible happen while staying humble

It’s a bonus if you have...

  • Project management experience
  • Experience with international markets
  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Proficiency in additional languages
  • Knowledge of the SaaS and B2B space
  • Business development/sales experience
