Sales Manager

Businesses of all kinds depend on Trulioo to streamline and scale their global customer on-boarding, fraud, and compliance operations.

To help continue fuel our growth, we are looking for an energetic, passionate, and highly tactical sales manager. This is a unique career opportunity to impact a small but rapidly growing sales force focused on engaging high profile customers in the Payments, e-Commerce, Finserv, and Technology verticals. You’ll be relied upon for your entrepreneurial nature, collaborative style, and ability to drive the overall sales cycle. This position reports to the General Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all sales operations activities
  • Review, improve, and broaden sales analytics, reporting, and forecasting
  • Support the broader sales team by reviewing customer communications, offering sales strategy guidance, and optimizing pipeline management
  • Analyze and improve sales performance, including coaching and developing direct reports
  • Manage a team in a competitive environment
  • Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales related applications
  • Train and ensure adherence to the defined sales processes
  • Meet pre-determined team revenue goals
  • Support sales conversion by directly interacting with prospects and client opportunities
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Technical teams for feedback loops and operational efficiencies

Required Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years in a sales role within a software startup, preferably B2B
  • 1 year of prior management or team lead experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce a must
  • Proven ability to track, analyze, and improve the sales process and account conversion
  • Demonstrable history of making day to day decisions and being accountable for results
  • Team player with a positive and infectious attitude
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to successfully articulate technical product specifications and product value propositions
  • Strong business and technical aptitude with a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Superior relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, confident, competitive, detailed-oriented, and big appetite for high achievement
